Managing and editing Business Trips

SoldoPlans_Enterprise_202407_R_EN.svgOnce a Trip is created and approved, you can view, update, or delete it as needed. This helps you stay in control of travel spending throughout the trip.

Where to find Trips

  • Go to the Trips section in the Soldo web app.
  • Use filters to find specific Trips by status or assignee.
  • Click a Trip to open its details.

What you can manage

Note: Only Super admins and Admins can edit the Trip details.

From the Trip details page, you can:

  • Edit Trip information: update the title, destination, or description.
  • Edit expenses: adjust amounts or add new expenses if needed.
    Note: If the Trip was approved in full and all funds have already been sent, expenses cannot be changed.
  • Edit funding and rules: change how funds are allocated or update the end-of-trip rules (unused funds and card status).

Tracking Trip spending

  • Transactions made between the Trip’s start and end dates are automatically assigned to the Trip.
  • You can reassign or unassign a transaction from its details at any time.
  • Reports and Expense Review can be filtered by Trip for easier reconciliation.

Deleting a Trip

Note: Only Super admins and Admins can delete the Trip.

If a Trip is no longer needed (for example, if travel plans change), you can delete it:

  1. Go to the Trips section.
  2. Select the Trip you want to remove.
  3. Click Delete Trip and confirm your choice.

When a Trip is deleted, any funds that were transferred will be returned to the original funding source.

End-of-trip rules

Trips end automatically at the date you set. 12 hours after the end date, any rules you applied will take effect:

  • Unused funds are removed from the wallet (if chosen).
  • The card is blocked or kept active, depending on your choice.
