After activating a new currency in Soldo, you'll need to deposit funds into the wallet or make a transfer before you can start to use the wallet.
Main wallets are the only type of wallets that can accept funds from external sources. For example, banks via a bank transfer. Main wallets cannot be deleted.
How to deposit funds into an alternative currency wallet
The deposit links provided in the Soldo web app provide a convenient way to quickly access the deposit section for your default Main wallet. However, if you need to make a deposit into a different Main wallet, follow this guide.
You can use these links if you want to make a deposit into your default Main wallet, otherwise, follow the rest of this guide.
1. From the left-side menu select Wallets.
2. Select the Main wallets.
3. Select the wallet that you would like to fund.
4. Choose your preferred deposit method from the available options and follow the instructions provided to complete your deposit.
In addition to making a deposit from your bank, you can also fund your alternative currency wallet by transferring funds from another wallet.
Once you activate a new currency in Soldo, you’ll need to fund the wallet before you can use it for spending or transfers.
How to deposit funds into a new currency wallet
- From the navigation menu, select Wallets.
- Select Main wallets.
- Choose the wallet for the newly activated currency.
- Select the Deposit info tab.
- Select your preferred deposit method.
- Follow the instructions for your chosen deposit method to complete your deposit.
What you can do with the funded wallet
- Use it as a funding source for User cards or Company cards
- Transfer funds to Company wallets
- Transfer money between Main wallets in different currencies
