Generating transactions in your sandbox account

When you activate your sandbox account, we'll automatically credit the account with virtual funds so you can start using it right away to create users, cards, wallets, and transfer money. We've also included a feature that allows you to generate transactions for your cards. By generating transactions in your sandbox account, you can closely replicate a production account giving you even more flexibility to experiment with different configurations and workflows.

To get started:

1. Log in to your sandbox account.

2. Select Generate transactions from the banner.
   

   Note: Before you can generate transactions, you'll need to add a card to your sandbox account. Creating cards and users in sandbox is the same as for production. If you need more information on these topics, you can view these articles:

3. You can generate transactions for all your cards or select specific ones. Use the dropdown to choose one, multiple, or all cards.
   

4. Next, choose the type of transactions you want to generate. You can select from:

   • Random
   • Payment authorized
   • Payment settled
   • Payment declined
   • Payment cancelled
   • Refund settled
   • Cash withdrawal authorized
   • Cash withdrawal settled
   • Cash withdrawal cancelled
   • Cash withdrawal declined

   

5. Enter the number of transactions you want to generate for each card (1 -10) and then select Generate.
