What is KYC/KYB?

KYC (Know Your Customer) and KYB (Know Your Business) refer to the regulatory requirements for verifying the identities of individuals or businesses before establishing a business relationship. These processes are required to comply with financial regulations which aim combat financial crime.

As a Financial Institution regulated by the CBI (Central Bank of Ireland), Soldo has a legal obligation to comply with KYC/KYB requirements by performing due diligence processes on all our customers.

When processing a new account application, to fulfil these legal obligations, we need to request certain information from you about your organisation and the individuals who are involved in ownership or who will take an administration role on the account in question.
