When you're reviewing expenses, you may want to request additional information about the transaction. For example, perhaps you've noticed an uploaded receipt doesn't match the transaction, or you want to understand why the user spent out of policy.
With Expense review, reviewers can request additional information using both Web and Mobile apps and send a personalised message requesting more information. We'll send an email to the transaction owner along with your personalised message.
Request more information for an expense using the Web app
- Log in to the Web app.
- From the left-side menu, select Expenses > Expense review.
- From the Review tab, select the user.
- Select the transaction you want to request more information for.
- Select Request info.
- Enter your message.
Note: Whatever you enter here will be included in the email we'll send to the transaction owner.
- Select Request info.
- The transaction owner will receive an email notification describing:
- Who is requesting further information
- The transaction details (amount, date, and merchant).
- The personalised message sent from the Web app.
Request more information for an expense using the Mobile app
- Log in to the Mobile app.
- From the bottom navigation menu, tap Account.
- Tap Expense review.
- Tap the user.
- Tap the transaction you want to request more information for.
- Tap Other.
- Tap Request info.
- Enter your message.

- The transaction owner will receive an email notification describing:

FAQ's
I've received a request for more information, what should I do?
If a reviewer requests more information about a transaction, you'll receive an email notification. You can either contact the reviewer directly to respond to their request or log in to Soldo and add the requested details to the transaction.
As a reviewer, can I keep track of the information requests I send?
The request information functionality sends an email notification to the transaction owner, informing them that they need to provide more details. Currently, there is no tracking feature for information requests.
