You can flag any transaction in Soldo to help identify or revisit it later. This is especially useful when filtering reports. For more information on filtering reports, refer to this article: Viewing and filtering transaction reports.

Flagging a transaction can be done from any screen that shows transaction details, such as Reports > Transactions.

How to flag a transaction

  1. Go to any screen where you can view transactions.
  2. Select a transaction to open the details.
  3. Scroll to the Advanced details section.
  4. Select the flag icon next to Additional info.

Why use flags?

Flags are a helpful way to mark specific transactions you might want to follow up on, investigate, or include in a report. Once a transaction is flagged, it’s easier to find using the report filters:

  • Is flagged – shows only flagged transactions
  • Not flagged – shows all others

Who can flag transactions?

Any user can flag or unflag a transaction, including Employees. However, it’s mainly expected that Super admins, Admins and Managers will use this feature as part of their reporting or review processes.

Important: If a Super admin flags a transaction, the transaction owner can unflag it without notification.
