Your Soldo card works like any other payment card, but what you can buy with it depends on how your company has set it up.
Companies use Soldo to stay in control of spending. This means your card may have some limits or rules that reflect your company’s spending policy.
Where you can use your card
You can use your Soldo card to pay in most places that accept Mastercard. This includes:
- Online stores and subscriptions
- In-store at physical shops
- Over the phone, if the merchant supports card payments
Both physical and virtual cards can also be added to Apple Pay or Google Pay for contactless payments.
What you can buy
There is no universal list of approved items. What you can buy depends on how your card is configured by your company.
Common examples of approved spending include:
- Travel bookings such as trains, flights, or hotels
- Work meals and coffees
- Office equipment or supplies
- Digital tools or software subscriptions
What might be blocked
Your card may be declined if the purchase goes against your company’s policy. Some common restrictions include:
- Entertainment or gambling services
- Cash withdrawals, if disabled by your company
- Non-business-related purchases
If your card is declined, you can usually check the reason in the app. You can also read more about why card payments might be declined.
