You no longer need to activate your card before using it. All newly created Soldo cards are now ready to use as soon as they’re issued.
That means you can view your card details immediately and start spending online or via Apple Pay or Google Pay, even before your physical card arrives.
What does ready-to-use mean?
As soon as your card is created, it’s already active and linked to your wallet. You don't need to take any other steps to activate it.
- You can view your card details instantly in the web or mobile app.
- You can use your card online right away.
- You can add it to your digital wallet e.g. Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Using your plastic card for the first time
Even though your card is ready to use, you may be asked to enter your PIN the first time you use a plastic card in a shop or ATM. This is a standard security check and helps activate contactless payments.
