Soldo uses 3D Secure (3DS) to help protect your card when shopping online. This is an extra security step that confirms it’s really you making the payment.
How it works
When you make a payment online, you’ll either:
- Get a notification via the Soldo mobile app asking you to approve the payment
- Receive a text message with a one-time passcode (OTP) if you don’t have the app installed
You’ll have 5 minutes to approve the transaction, otherwise, it will be declined.
What you need to do
- Make sure you’ve installed the latest version of the Soldo mobile app
- Keep your mobile number up to date in your Soldo profile
- Ensure you’re an assigned user on any company card you’re using online
Using 3DS with company cards
If you’re using a shared company card, all assignees will receive the 3DS approval request and anyone can approve or reject it. This helps keep things secure even if multiple people use the same card.
