Card rule presets let you apply the same set of rules and limits to multiple cards at once. This saves time, helps you stay consistent across teams or departments, and reduces the risk of errors when managing cards at scale.
Presets are ideal when you need to:
- Apply company-wide spending rules across user or company cards
- Update multiple cards when rules change
- Set consistent limits and controls during onboarding
Each preset can include:
- Security rules – ATM withdrawals, contactless, online payments
- Spending limits – Daily, weekly, monthly, or per transaction
- Merchant categories – Define where cards can be used
- Geo controls – Limit spending to specific countries
Which cards can use presets?
You can assign presets to:
- User cards
- Company cards
Presets cannot be assigned to:
- Temporary virtual cards (pre-approved spend)
- Subscription cards
- Online ads cards
