Every Soldo user has an Employee role by default, but you may have access to additional roles depending on your responsibilities. For example, you might be both an Employee and a Super admin who manages your company’s Soldo account. Or you might be a Manager who reviews team requests and expenses.
This guide shows you how to switch between roles quickly and easily, so you can stay focused and complete your tasks without interruption.
If your company is on the Unlimited plan, the same steps apply when switching between standard roles and any custom roles you’ve set up.
Tip: The web app updates automatically when you switch roles,
so the features and options you see may vary. If something looks different,
it’s worth checking which role you’re using.
How to change your role
Who: Users assigned multiple roles
- Log in.
- From the main navigation menu, select the three dots (more options) icon.
- From the user menu, select the Role option.
Tip: When you open the user menu, you'll clearly see your
current role.
- Choose the role that you want to switch to from the list. You'll only be able to select a role you've been assigned.
Note: Your last known role will be remembered the next time
that you log in. You can follow the same instructions to switch to another
role.
