Soldo is designed to support the way you work, whether that’s multitasking across sections or keeping key information visible while making changes. By using multiple tabs or enabling split screen views in your browser, you can stay organised and get more done with fewer clicks.
Need to manage users while reviewing a wallet, or compare card settings side by side? You can open different areas of the Soldo web app in separate tabs.
With multiple tabs and split views, you'll be able to:
- Reference key data while completing other tasks.
- Switch between sections faster, no back-and-forth navigation.
- Compare, review, and configure different parts of your account more efficiently.
How to open a section in a new tab
- Right-click any item in the main navigation menu (e.g. Home, Cards, Wallets).
- Select Open in new tab.
What happens when you switch roles
If you change roles in one tab (for example, from Super admin to Employee), the other open tab will automatically update to your new role on first interaction with it. This helps keep your permissions consistent.
Using split view in Chrome or Edge
If you want to see two Soldo tabs side-by-side, the latest versions of both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge offer built-in split view options.
In Google Chrome
- Open two Soldo tabs.
- Right-click one tab from the browser bar, then choose Add tab to new split view.
- Select another open tab to pair with.
- Both will now display side-by-side in one window.
Manage your split view
When you've entered split view, you'll be able to manage the view by:
- Swapping sides – Reverse left and right views.
- Close left or right tab – Close tab entirely.
- Separate views – Return to normal tabs by separating the split layout (both tabs will remain open).
To manage the view:
- Right-click the split tab from the browser bar, then choose Arrange split view.
In Microsoft Edge
- Open two Soldo tabs.
- Select the three dots (more options) in the top-right of the browser window.
- Choose Split screen from the menu.
- Select a second open tab to display alongside the first.
- Both will now display side-by-side in one window.
Other browsers
Other browsers may also offer similar side-by-side or split-view features. For the most up-to-date instructions, check the official support pages for your browser.
Hints and tips for working across tabs and split views
Refresh tabs after making changes
If you make configuration changes (such as editing users or updating wallets) in one tab, any other open tabs may not reflect the latest updates straight away. Before continuing work in another tab, refresh it to ensure you're working with the most up-to-date data.
Quickly refresh by using the Home button
You don’t need to reload the entire browser window. A fast way to refresh any Soldo tab is to simply click Home in the main navigation menu.
Collapse the navigation menu for more space
When working in split view, collapsing the main navigation menu gives you more space to focus on the content in each view. This is especially useful on smaller screens or when reviewing data side by side.

Use multiple languages at once
If you're working in split view, you can display each Soldo tab in a different language. For example, view the platform in English on one side and in Italian on the other, perfect for international teams or cross-market reviews. For more information on switching languages, see: Switch the language of your Soldo web app.
