Downloading and exporting data from the Soldo web app

If you need to analyse, report on, or share your data outside of Soldo, you can download it directly from the web app. Wherever you see the download icon, you’ll be able to export the table you're viewing.

Exporting your data lets you work with it in your preferred format, share it with your team, or use it for external reporting and analysis.

How to download your data

What’s included in your download

Downloads reflect the current view of your table:

  • Only visible columns are included
  • Column order matches your customised layout
  • Any active filters (e.g. date range, wallet, status) are applied

To change what’s exported, simply update the filters or table layout before selecting the download icon.

What format is used?

In most cases, data is exported in Excel (.xlsx) format. Some areas, such as Transactions, also offer additional options like .csv, .pdf, .QIF, .OFX or .zip.

Downloading transaction reports is covered in more detail in this article

Where your download is saved

Downloads are saved to your browser’s default download folder. You’ll typically see a notification or prompt confirming the download has started.

Tips for downloads and exports

  • Apply filters first to narrow your dataset before exporting
  • Use the Edit columns menu to include or exclude specific fields
  • Reset the table layout if needed before you begin
