Dashboard: Overview

The Overview page is your main Dashboard view in Soldo. It gives you a high-level summary of your account activity, designed to help Super admins and Admins understand how company money is being used, by who, and where.

From here, you can explore everything from wallet usage to merchant spend, all in one place.

Use the Overview page to:

  • Spot trends fast - check company-wide spending patterns at a glance
  • Monitor activity - track which users and merchants are the most active
  • Investigate anomalies - a sudden spike in one area might reveal an issue to explore
  • Save time - access key insights without needing to build a report or export data

How to view the Dashboard

Who: Super admins, Admins, Limited admins
  1. From the main navigation menu, select Dashboard > Overview.

Account stats

At the top of the page, you’ll see five account stats that provide a quick summary of your Soldo account:

  • No. main wallets
  • No. company wallets (Plus and Unlimited)
  • No. active cards
  • No. users
  • No. vehicles

Above each stat you'll find a link to take you straight to the relevant section of the web app. For example, clicking Users will open the Users page.

Currency toggle

If your account supports multiple currencies (available on Plus and Unlimited plans), you’ll see a currency selector below the account stats. This lets you switch the entire Dashboard view to another active currency.

Note: Only one currency can be displayed at a time.

Account balance summary

Just below the account stats, you’ll find a summary of your account’s financial position:

  • Ledger balance – the total amount in your account, including money that is still being processed.
  • Pending balance – funds currently on hold due to authorisation or settlement steps.
  • Available balance – the amount of money that’s currently ready to use.

This gives you a real-time view of your overall account health.

Spending insight

Below the balances, the page displays four interactive charts that help you track spending patterns and identify key trends. Each chart includes filters so you can adjust the date range to:

  • This month
  • Previous month
  • Past 3 months
  • Past 6 months

Total spend

This chart shows how much your company has spent over time. Use the filters to zoom in on recent activity or compare longer trends.

Spend by expense category

See how your company’s spending is distributed across different expense categories. This breakdown helps you identify where budgets are being used and where they might need reviewing.

Top merchants

This chart shows which merchants your teams are spending the most with. You can choose to display:

  • Top 5 (default)
  • Top 10
  • Top 15

This is especially useful for identifying regular suppliers or recurring business costs.

Highest-spend users

See which users are responsible for the most spending. You can choose to display:

  • Top 5 (default)
  • Top 10
  • Top 15
  • All
