You can deposit funds into your Soldo account at any time. Follow the steps below to get started.
- Select Wallets from the navigation menu.
- Select Main wallets.
- Click on Deposit money.
If you're using multiple currencies and want to deposit money into a different Main wallet, select the wallet from the list first. Then click the Deposit info tab.
- Choose your deposit method. Follow the instructions provided to complete the deposit. For details on available deposit options, see the section below.
Deposit method - Faster Payment/BACS
You'll find all of the information you need to make a deposit using Faster Payment/BACS under the Deposit info tab such as:
- Beneficiary
- Sort code
- Account number
Faster Payments usually arrive instantly but can take up to 2 hours to appear in Soldo. BACS transfers take 24-48 hours.
Deposit method - IBAN
If you're an EU customer, please be aware that this deposit option is only suitable for euro transfers between banks that are part of the SEPA scheme.
You'll find all of the information you need to make a deposit using the IBAN method under the Deposit info tab such as:
- Reference number
- Beneficiary
- IBAN
- BICC
Deposit method - Direct deposit
A Direct deposit lets you make a secure money transfer into your Main wallet, directly from your bank account through Open Banking. A temporary connection is made to your bank account each time you make a direct deposit into Soldo. We don’t have access to your transaction data.
A Direct deposit is usually instant, but it can take up to 2 hours to appear in Soldo.
SEPA transfers should take 1-2 business days to appear in Soldo, but may take longer depending on your bank. Usually they’re free, but some banks might charge a fee for this transfer.
SEPA Instant transfers take less than 10 seconds to complete. Usually they’re free, but some banks might charge a fee for this transfer.
To use the Direct deposit method:
- Click on the Make direct deposit option.
- Select the country where your bank is located.
- Choose your bank from the list.
- Follow the guided instructions to create the secure temporary connection with your bank and complete the deposit.
International payment
The International payment deposit option is suitable only for SWIFT transfers from foreign currencies to euros and from a bank outside the SEPA scheme.
