The Business API lets your company build custom applications and connections that move Soldo data into your internal systems. It gives you more flexibility when the Integration marketplace doesn't cover your specific needs.
What the Business API can do
With the API, your developers can build custom integrations that automate data flows, sync information with your systems, or support tailored processes that match your internal tools.
When you create an application in Soldo, you'll use a public and private key pair to authenticate and protect your data. This ensures safe communication between your account and Soldo's servers.
When to use the Business API instead of the marketplace
- You need a custom data flow that isn't covered by an existing integration.
- You want more control over how and when Soldo data reaches your systems.
- You have internal tooling that needs to interact with Soldo automatically.
Availability and requirements
The Business API is included in Unlimited plans and available as an add-on for Plus plans.
What the Sandbox is
The Sandbox is a separate environment that lets your company test the Business API or try new configurations without affecting live data. It's useful for training, development, or validating changes before you use them in your live account.
Live account vs Sandbox
- Live account: Real company data and activity.
- Sandbox: A safe place to experiment, train your team, or test new setups.
