How to export transactions to QuickBooks

  1. Before exporting to QuickBooks, make sure the transactions you plan to export are correctly updated:
  • Each transaction has a value for the ‘QuickBooks Tax Rate’ and ‘QuickBooks Category’ lists (if the transaction includes lines, you'll need to set a value for each line).
  • If the attachment policy was set to mandatory, each transaction should include at least one receipt.
  • If your administrator enabled additional mandatory QuickBooks lists, each transaction must have a value (see "How do I make a list mandatory in Soldo"). You can only export settled transactions.
  1. Select Reports on the left and click on QuickBooks.
  2. There are three ways to export transactions:
  • Export all transactions in view – Click the Export to QuickBooks Online button on the right.
  • Export selected transactions – On the left, select all the transactions you want to export, then press the Export selected to QuickBooks Online button.
  • Export a specific transaction – Choose the transaction you would like to export and click the Export button in the transaction details panel that opens on the right.
Note: Transactions with metadata not yet exported will remain in the To Export tab, and those successfully exported to QuickBooks will move to the Exported tab.
