How do I connect Soldo to the QuickBooks bank feed?

You can easily enable the bank feed by following these steps:

  1. Log in to QuickBooks Online
  2. Under 'Transactions', select 'Banking'
  3. Tap 'Connect account'
  4. Search Soldo and authorise
Note: Soldo supports up to three accounts, one for each of the currencies you have enabled. You will need to reauthorise the bank feed connection every 90 days.

Import transactions manually

Using OFX Format

  1. In the web console, go to the Statements section under the Reports tab on the left. Select the date range you would like to export.
  2. Click the Export button on the right, select the OFX option, click the Export button and download the file.
  3. In QuickBooks, go to the Banking section. Click the File upload box on the right.
  4. In the next window, select Browse, choose the file exported from Soldo, select Open and then click Next.
  5. In the next window, use the dropdown to find the QuickBooks account you want to import the transactions to. Select Next.
  6. All done. You have successfully imported your transactions to QuickBooks. Click the Let’s go! button to complete the import.

Using CSV Format

  1. In the web console, go to the Statements section under the Reports tab on the left. Select the date range you would like to export.
  2. Click the Export button on the right, select the CSV option, then select Comma delimited, click Export and download the file.
  3. Open the CSV file in an editor and remove the time from all values under the ‘Settled Date’ column, leaving only the date. Save and close the file.
  4. In QuickBooks, go to the Banking section. Click the File upload box on the right.
  5. In the next window, select Browse, choose the file exported from Soldo, select Open and then click Next.
  6. You will be asked to map the QuickBooks fields to the matching ones in Soldo. Choose: Date → Settled Date (format dd/mm/yyyy), Description → Description, Amount → Amount. Then click Next.
  7. In the next window, select or deselect the transactions you want to upload to QuickBooks. Once done, select Next.
  8. Click Yes in the popup window to confirm your selection.
  9. All done. You have successfully imported your transactions to QuickBooks. Click the Let’s go! button to complete the import.
