Note: Only Super admins have the permission to delete cards. You'll need to log in to Soldo with a Super admin role to complete this.
Before you can delete a card, you'll need to complete the following:

Check that all of the transactions made using the card are settled.
(Read more about settled statuses here.) -
Inform the cardholder. Once removed, they'll no longer be able to use the card and you or they will need to destroy it straight away if it's a plastic card.
- If it is a company card connected to a reserved wallet, check that the balance of the reserved wallet is zero.
All complete? Now you can remove the card.
To do so, follow these steps:
Deleting User cards and Company cards
1. Go to Cards.
2. Select the card that you want to delete.
Tip: Filter by card type to view user cards or company cards only.
3. In the resulting screen, select the three dots in the top right corner.
4. Click Delete card from the list and confirm that you wish to remove the card.
The card will then be removed from the list.
Please note that removing a card is irreversible. Once you remove the card, it can no longer be used for any transactions. You or the cardholder will need to destroy the card by cutting the chip in half.
Should you wish to order another card in the future, you can do so from your app or Web console.
Before you delete a card
Before you remove a card from your account, check the following:

Make sure all transactions are settled.
A card can't be deleted if there are pending (authorised) transactions. Learn more about settled and authorised transactions. -
Let the cardholder know.
Once a card is deleted, it can't be used again. If it's a plastic card, it should be destroyed by cutting through the chip. -
If it's a company card with a reserved wallet:
The wallet balance must be zero before deletion. You can transfer funds to another wallet if needed.
How to delete a User card or Company card
- From the navigation menu, select Cards.
- Select the card you want to delete.
Tip: You can use the filters to show only User cards or Company cards. - Select the three dots (more options) menu in the top right corner.
- Choose Delete card and confirm when prompted.
Once confirmed, the card will be removed from your list.
Deleting a card is permanent. Once removed, the card can’t be used for any transactions. If it’s a plastic card, make sure it's destroyed securely by cutting the chip in half.
If you need a replacement card later, you can always order a new one from the Web app or mobile app.
