You can set a lock date in Xero to prevent changes from being made to transactions at the end of a period. This allows you to prepare your financial records for the year or tax period. After setting the lock date, you won’t be able to add or edit transactions in Xero if the transaction date is earlier than the lock date. You also won't be able to export a transaction with a settled date that's earlier than the Xero lock date from Soldo. Soldo will prevent you from doing so and you’ll see an error.
Note: Soldo refreshes the integration every 30-60 minutes, so if you change the lock date in Xero, it may not update in Soldo immediately. If you need to refresh it sooner, see Can I manually refresh the Xero integration?
