Fuel invoice summary document: how it works

Once your fuel invoices are received by Soldo, managing them becomes easy. We take care of the reconciliation process, matching payments to invoices so you don’t have to.

You can then generate a single summary document (in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 6 of DPR 695/1996) for any period you choose. This summary includes all electronic fuel invoices under €300 and automatically calculates the correct VAT amounts based on the applicable rates.

The summary replaces individual invoices, allowing for a single accounting entry. You can download the document at any time and share it with your accountant or bookkeeper.

All electronic invoices received by Soldo can also be downloaded by your company for long-term storage or archiving.

What about invoices of €300 or more?

Fuel invoices with a total of €300 or more can’t be included in the summary document. These must be recorded individually. However, Soldo still provides:

  • Automatic reconciliation with the corresponding payment
  • A certification that the payment meets the legal traceability requirements for tax deduction

Is there a limit to how many invoices can be included?

No, there’s no limit to the number of fuel invoices you can include in the summary, or to the total amount. The only condition is that each individual invoice must be under €300.

What if the fuel purchase was made abroad?

Fuel purchases made outside Italy and paid with a Soldo card must be accounted for separately. These transactions are not eligible for VAT deduction under Italian tax law.
