Groups is a feature that allows you to organise company resources (I.e. users, wallets, company cards, etc.) based on shared characteristics or objectives.
Groups is particularly useful for structuring company resources. You might want to create a group for a project that is being worked on by members of your company’s sales and marketing teams, for example. In this case, you could create a group called ‘Project X’ and add the employees/users working on the project (along with the cards and wallets you’d like to draw funds from to fund the project).
Alternatively, you could create a group to organise a department’s (ex. Product team) resources to cover day-to-day expenses. Simply create a new group named after the department and add all the users, wallets, and company cards related to that department. In this way, all the transactions involving the resources of a given group will be marked as being related to that group.
Groups is a versatile feature introduced to put you in control of your company’s resources. Grouping your users, wallets, and company cards based on common characteristics and objectives makes it easier than ever to keep track of your transactions. Additionally, you can choose if you want to give a user visibility on the resources of a specific group. This way, you can be sure that users are accessing the resources they need to get their work done.
