Can I manage the individual purchase items of a single invoice?

When your company receives a single invoice that includes multiple purchases such as a monthly fuel invoice covering all company vehicle refuelling, or a combined fuel and snack purchase at a motorway service station, it’s important to be able to reconcile each line item accurately.

With Soldo, you can easily manage multi-line invoices. Our built-in invoice reader helps you identify and work with each individual item listed in a single invoice.

How it works

• Each invoice is automatically analysed by Soldo, which extracts the individual purchase lines and presents them clearly in the web app.
• Purchase items from the same invoice are grouped visually using colour coding and labelled with the original invoice number.
• Each line displays the same numbering and descriptions as shown in the original document, helping you quickly cross-reference and match items.

What you can do

• Match individual lines to Soldo payments: Reconcile each line with the corresponding Soldo transaction for accurate reporting and VAT tracking.
• Mark as non-deductible: If a line item isn’t a business expense (e.g. a personal snack), you can choose not to reconcile it and treat it as a non-deductible expense.

Things to keep in mind

• Each purchase line can be managed independently giving you full control over how each item is recorded.
• For accounting consistency, it’s not possible to add or remove individual lines from the original invoice document within Soldo.
