Suppose the available funds on your Soldo card are running low, and you’d like to request a transfer of company money.
This guide will take you through how to request more funds. Alternatively, if you don’t have a Soldo card, or to request a temporary virtual card for specific payments follow these instructions.
How do I request funds?
If you need funds to top up your Soldo balance, you can request this via the web or mobile app.
Requesting funds on the web app:
- Go to the Requests section on the left-side menu.
- Click on Make a Request and choose I wish to receive a money transfer.
- Fill in the details, including why you need the funds and the amount.
- Click Send request.
Requesting funds on the mobile app:
- Go to Account then tap Requests.
- In the My requests tab, tap Create a request.
- Select I wish to receive funds.
- Fill in the details, including why you need the funds and the amount.
- Tap Send request.
The approver can then view this request and approve or deny it from the web or mobile app. When approving, the admin can choose the source of funds and make a transfer straightaway.
How to approve a fund request
Approving a request on the web app:
- If you are an approver, go to Requests on the left-side menu.
- Select the request to review the details.
- If you’d like to approve it, click Continue to approve. (Or choose to Decline request.)
- Choose the funding source (the wallet which you will transfer funds from).
- Click Approve request.
Approving a request on the mobile app:
- If you are an approver, tap Account > Requests.
- In the Approvals tab, select the request to review the details.
- If you’d like to approve it, tap Approve. (Or choose Deny to decline the request.)
- Choose the funding source (the wallet which you will transfer funds from).
- Tap Confirm.
Once a transfer request is approved, the funds will be transferred from your chosen wallet to your user’s wallet.

Can I request funds for any currency?
Yes, if your company has main wallets in multiple currencies, you can choose the currency you need when submitting your request.
How will I be notified of fund requests?
You will receive an email informing you that a user has requested funds.
Can I use multi-step approval for the requested funds?
You can only use the standard approval workflow for the request funds feature.
