What are online ads cards?
Online ads cards are dedicated virtual cards used to manage spend across digital advertising platforms. They’re designed for recurring payments on tools like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or any other marketing platform. You can assign the card to one or more users to share responsibility across marketing or finance teams.
Why use online ads cards?
Online ads cards give your teams better control and visibility over marketing spend. Whether you're running a few campaigns or managing a global ad budget, these cards help in several key ways:
- One view of your ad spend: See all online ad cards in one place. Just log in to the web app and select Online ads from the menu. You’ll see card details including platform, funding source, assignees, last spend, and total spend.
- Control over spend: Assign cards to specific campaigns or platforms to prevent overuse or duplication.
- Easy to manage: Edit or delete online ads cards anytime, and assign them to multiple users when needed.
- Safer payments: Lock or report cards as compromised to prevent fraud or misuse.
Who can create and manage online ads cards?
Super admins and Admins can create, edit, assign, and delete online ads cards. Employees can view and activate the cards they’re assigned to, and use them to set up ad payments on their platforms.
How to create an online ads card
- Log in to the web app.
- From the left-side menu, select Online ads.
- Select Create an online ad.
- Enter an online ad name for the card.
- Select the platform from the dropdown (e.g. Google, Facebook). If it’s not listed, choose Other.
- Add a short description (e.g. “Q2 remarketing campaign”).
- Select a wallet (Main or Company wallet) to fund the card.
- Select one or more assignees who will use the card.
- Select Create online ad.
The online ads card is now ready to be activated.

How to activate and use an online ads card
Before using an online ads card, it must be activated.
- Log in to the web app.
- Select Online ads from the menu.
- Select the card you want to use.
- Select Activate card.
Note: Only card assignees can activate an online ads card.
Once activated, the assignee can:
- Click Card info to view the virtual card details.
- Use the card number, expiry date, CVC, and billing address to set up payment on the ad platform.
Card security controls
Online ads cards come with built-in security options:
- Lock or unlock the card anytime.
- Report as compromised if there’s suspicious activity.
How to edit or delete an online ad card
Edit an online ad
Super admins and Admins can edit:
- Online ad name or description
- Assignees
- Wallet/funding source
Make your changes and click Save.
Delete an online ad
- Log in to the web app.
- Select Online ads from the menu.
- Select the ad you want to delete.
- Click the More options icon (three dots).
- Select Delete.
- Select Yes, delete to confirm.
Note: Deleting an online ad does not cancel the ad or stop it from running. You’ll need to manage campaigns separately within your ad platform.
