What information will I need to provide for the Identity check?

The information you’ll need to provide as part of the identity check will depend on the permissions you have been given in Soldo.

We have categorised the identity check into 2 main levels:

• Basic identity check (most users)
• Advanced identity check (Super admins and users with additional permissions in Soldo)

Basic identity check (most users)

We’ll ask you to:

• Complete a short form entering some basic details.
  
• Complete the verification check using Onfido.
  

They’ll ask you to:

1. Upload proof of identity. You’ll need to:

• Choose which type of identity document you will upload.
• Indicate the issuing country.
• Take a photo or upload images as attachments.

2. Complete a liveness check​. You’ll need to:

• Follow the prompts to record a short video of yourself with your front-facing camera.

Advanced identity check

We’ll ask you to:

• Complete a short form entering some basic details.
• Complete the verification check using Onfido.

How do I know if I need to complete a basic or advanced identity verification check?

The type of check you’ll need is based on the permissions you’ve been given in Soldo. We’ll guide you through the process. Just follow the on-screen instructions and we’ll only ask for the information that is required for your access level in Soldo.

As a guide:

• If you’re a general spender who uses Soldo cards, you’ll need a basic check.
• If you have permission to create and assign cards to users, authorise bank transfers. access API credentials, etc, you’ll need an advanced check.
