Managing money across users, wallets, and cards can get time-consuming, especially when transfers need to happen regularly or when balances get low. That’s where auto-transfer presets come in.
Auto-transfer presets are sets of pre-defined transfer rules that you can assign to multiple resources at once. Instead of configuring rules for each user, wallet, or card individually, you can create a preset and apply it in just a few clicks. This not only saves time but gives you better visibility and control over how money moves within your Soldo account.
Why use auto-transfer presets?
- Save time: Set rules once, and apply them across many users, wallets, or cards.
- Stay in control: Ensure money is available where and when it’s needed, without manual intervention.
- Avoid low balances: Automatically top up resources when funds drop below a set amount.
- Support predictable workflows: Automate daily, weekly, or monthly transfers based on your needs.
What types of transfers can you automate?
Auto-transfer presets support two types of rules:
-
Periodic transfers: Schedule recurring transfers daily, weekly, or monthly. You can:
- Send a fixed amount
- Remove excess funds
- Set a balance target for each resource
- Low balance transfers: Automatically top up a resource when its balance drops below a certain threshold.
When should I use a preset vs a one-off transfer?
If you need to make a single bulk transfer, it’s best to use our one-off transfer feature. For anything that needs to happen repeatedly or be applied consistently across multiple users or wallets, presets are the better option.

What happens when a preset is assigned?
Once a preset is assigned to a user, wallet, or card, the transfer rules defined in the preset will automatically apply. You can always review or change the rules later, and each resource can only have one preset or set of custom rules active at a time.
