Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) - Mobile app approvals

Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) is a security requirement that protects your Soldo account. When you log in to the Soldo web app, you confirm it's really you by approving the login in the Soldo mobile app on your trusted device.

How to approve a login

  1. Log in to the web app by entering your email address and password.
  2. Choose Mobile app as your verification method.
  3. Open the notification you'll receive on your trusted mobile device.

  4. Select Yes, it's me to approve the request.

  5. After you approve the request, you're logged in automatically.
Important: Only approve a login request if you're sure it was you. If you receive an approval request but haven't tried to log in, select No, deny access.

Troubleshooting tips

  • If you don't receive a notification, check your phone settings and confirm that notifications are allowed for the Soldo mobile app.
  • If you miss a notification, you can still approve a login from the "Account" tab in the mobile app. Open the menu and select "Approvals centre" to see all pending approvals.

  • If you're unable to set up the mobile app, check with your Admin to make sure your mobile phone number is correct in your user profile.
