How do I set up the Sage Business Cloud Accounting integration?

You can set up the Sage Business Cloud Accounting integration directly in your Soldo web app. First, make sure that you’ve read this guide.

Once you've configured Sage and found the required information, follow these steps in the Soldo web app to set up the integration:

1. Navigate to the Integrations tab on the left-side menu and select Marketplace.
2. Under Accounting, find the Sage Accounting integration and click Connect. If you already have an active integration with another accounting system, you'll need to remove that before you can continue.
3. Review and check the requirements that you need to complete before proceeding to the next step. All marked as ‘Done?’ Click Connect Now.
4. This will redirect you to the Sage login page. Log in using your email address and password. You’ll then be redirected back to Soldo to finish setting up the integration.
5. Choose an existing Sage bank account or create a new one from Soldo. If you have multiple currencies set up on Soldo, you will need to make sure you have a version of Sage that supports this. Click Next.
6. Select any existing expense category types you want to import into Soldo from your Sage account. Click Next.
7. Lists will be automatically uploaded into Soldo from Sage. Review these then click Next to continue.
8. In the final step, customize the rules for exporting Soldo transactions to Sage. Choose an Exporting rules option and use the toggles to decide if the bank feed can be disabled and if an attachment is required for each transaction. 9. Click Complete setup to finish setting up the integration.

Soldo will now set up the Sage integration. This may take some time to sync; we’ll notify you once it’s complete. You can then review the information in Settings and make any changes if needed.
