How can I check my Soldo account balance?

To spend with Soldo, your company needs to have enough money in its Main wallet and any other wallets you use. Since Soldo can’t pull funds from your bank account, you must deposit money before you can transfer it to cards or wallets. This article explains the quickest ways to check your balances and understand what each figure means.

Checking your balance using the Dashboard

The Dashboard Overview page gives you a real-time snapshot of your account balances. It helps you understand how much money is ready to use, how much is still being processed, and whether everything is running smoothly.

You can view this page at any time by selecting Dashboard > Overview from the main navigation menu.

Your balance explained

  • Available balance – the amount that’s ready to spend right now.
  • Ledger balance – the total amount in your Soldo account, including funds that are still being processed.
  • Pending balance – money currently on hold due to authorisation or settlement steps.

These figures are aggregated across all wallets (of the same currency) in your account, so they reflect your overall financial position at a glance.

Using the currency selector

If your account supports multiple currencies, the currency selector lets you switch the Dashboard view to see balances for each active currency. You can only view one currency at a time. Make sure you check each currency if you manage funds across more than one.

If you need deeper insight, the Financial details page breaks down your balances by wallet. This makes it easier to see where money is held and whether a specific wallet needs topping up.

You can access the Financial details page by selecting Dashboard > Financial details from the main navigation.

Here, you’ll find aggregated totals for:

  • Company – the total balance across all Main wallets and any Company wallets.
  • User wallet – the total balance across all user wallets.

For each of these, you’ll see:

  • Ledger balance
  • Pending balance
  • Available balance

Note: If you use more than one currency, you can use the currency toggle at the top of the page to switch between them. As with the Dashboard, only one currency can be viewed at a time.

Check only your Main wallet balance

If you simply want to know how much money is in your Main wallet right now, you can go to Main wallets from the navigation menu. This shows the real-time balance for each currency. It won’t show your true total account balance, but it’s the fastest way to check what you have available to allocate across all currencies activated on your account.

Tips to avoid running low on funds

  • If you use Automatic transfers, make sure your Main wallet has enough money to support them. If not, user or company cards may run out of funds.
  • If you manage multiple currencies, check each currency regularly to ensure funds are topped up where needed.
  • You can set up low balance alerts to notify you when your Main wallet balance is low.
