What you can do in the Wallets section

The Wallets section is where you manage how money is held, organised, and moved across your Soldo account. It gives you clear visibility of your funds and the tools to allocate money to cards, users, teams, or projects in a controlled way.

From here, you can view balances, deposit money, transfer funds, work with multiple currencies, and manage company wallets. Everything is designed to help you stay in control of company spending without adding complexity.

Main wallets

Your Main wallet is where company funds arrive when you deposit money into your Soldo account. If your plan supports multiple currencies, you will have one Main wallet per active currency.

When you select a Main wallet from the list, you can use the tabs at the top to manage it:

  • Transactions
View all transactions for this wallet, including deposits and transfers.
  • Deposit info
Find the bank details you need to deposit money into your Soldo account from your company bank account.
  • Transfers
Move funds from the Main wallet to other wallets, such as user wallets or company wallets. This is typically used to top up wallets so cards can be used.
  • Linked cards
See which cards are linked to this Main wallet and funded by it.

Working with multiple currencies

Pricing plan(s): Plus, Unlimited

If your plan supports multi-currency, you can activate additional currencies directly from the Wallets section. This is useful if your company operates in more than one country or pays in different currencies.

Each active currency appears as its own Main wallet, with its own balance and transaction history.

Bulk one-off transfers

Pricing plan(s): Unlimited

To save time when moving money at scale, you can use bulk one-off transfers. This allows you to transfer funds across multiple wallets in one action using a template.

You can download the template, fill it in, and upload it back to Soldo to complete the transfers. This is helpful when setting balances for many wallets at once.

Company wallets

Pricing plan(s): Plus, Unlimited

Company wallets let you separate funds for specific purposes, such as departments, teams, or projects. They are available on plans that support company wallets.

When you select a company wallet, you will see a similar set of tabs:

From the company wallets area, you can also manage existing wallets. This includes renaming a wallet or deleting it when it is no longer needed.

Currency exchange

The Currency exchange section lets you transfer funds between wallets that use different currencies. This includes transfers between company wallets.

You choose the wallet to transfer from, select the destination wallet, enter the amount, and view the exchange rate before confirming. You can also exchange currencies directly from the Transfers tab in a company wallet.
